On November 15th Sterling Marine responded to a turtled landing craft in West Seattle. The vessel, a 30 foot Munson Landing Craft had capsized earlier in the day by what was thought to be rough seas. The weather as reported by Komo News was gusting 29 knots around 2 p.m.
Sterling Marine, Dunato’s Marine and Seattle Harbor Patrol worked closely together to right the vessel Saturday morning after the seas had calmed down. The boat was upside down and crews worked to rig lift bags to the vessel to assist in the process.
The vessel was towed back to Seattle Harbor Patrols Dock in Lake Union Friday afternoon by Dunato’s Marine.
