Sterling Marine Services Diver 25

Vessel Salvage

Sterling Marine responded to a vessel in Lake Washington that had been reported as sunk by the marina employees. Once on site, SMS dive crews secured the site by removing any hazardous materials and debris that had drifted away. The vessel was successfully floated within three hours of arrival and SMS contracted the the towing of the vessel out to its partner company which removed the vessel from the site and delivered it to the repair shop where it will be rebuilt.

After close examination, the vessel appeared to have a small pin hole in the aluminum which was thought to have caused the sinking.
